About and methodology
How Cryptokurs collects USDT rates, calculates final amounts, checks licences and gathers news. Our independence principles.
Cryptokurs compares crypto buy and sell rates at licensed exchangers in Kazakhstan. We do not sell crypto, accept payments or hold user funds.
Where rates come from
Every minute the Cryptokurs server reads rates from exchangers' public pages and open APIs. We show each rate exactly as the exchanger publishes it, with no adjustments.
- If an exchanger is temporarily unavailable, its last known rate is shown with the update time.
- Rate history is kept from the start of tracking and shown on each exchanger's chart.
- The dollar rate comes from official National Bank of Kazakhstan data.
How the calculator works
The board rate is not always the final rate. The calculator applies each exchanger's published tariffs:
| Term | How it is applied |
|---|---|
| Service fee | Deducted from the exchanged amount per the exchanger's tariff |
| Amount-based markup | The rate is recalculated for your order size |
| Deal limits | The offer is flagged if the amount is outside limits |
Bank and blockchain network fees are not included: they depend on your bank and chosen network. The tax calculator uses 2026 Tax Code rates and does not replace professional advice.
Which exchangers are compared
Only operators in the National Bank registry. We download the registry from the NBK website automatically several times a day. If an exchanger loses its licence, it leaves the comparison.
News
The news feed is built automatically from public outlets' RSS using crypto keywords. We show the headline, a short excerpt and a link to the source. Rights to the articles belong to the publishers. Articles are in Russian.
Independence
- An exchanger's position in the table depends only on its rate.
- We charge nothing for listing and use no affiliate links.
- We fix data errors as soon as they are reported. Write to hello@cryptokurs.100k.kz.
