What is Blockchain
A shared public ledger of transactions kept by thousands of independent computers.
A blockchain consists of blocks of transactions linked into a chain. Changing a past record is practically impossible because it would require rewriting every later block on most network nodes.
That is why blockchain transfers are irreversible, and any transaction can be checked by its hash in a block explorer.
